Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TripRoutesIndia website and your engagement of travel planning and booking services provided by TripRoutes, operating under the brand TripRoutesIndia ("we", "us", "our", "TripRoutesIndia"), having its registered office at Office No. 304, Kailash Plaza, Business Park, Ghatkopar East, Mumbai 400077, Maharashtra, India. By enquiring about, booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

TripRoutesIndia designs and arranges bespoke, private travel itineraries across India for international travellers and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). Our services may include itinerary planning, hotel and accommodation bookings, private transport, guides, activity reservations, and related travel arrangements. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers such as hotels, transport operators, airlines, and local guides.

2. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and written confirmation from TripRoutesIndia. Itineraries shared prior to confirmation are indicative and subject to availability of hotels, transport, and other services at the time of booking. Prices quoted are valid for a limited period as specified in your quotation and may change if not confirmed within that window.

3. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a non-refundable advance payment is required at the time of booking to secure hotel and service reservations, with the balance payable prior to the commencement of travel as per the schedule specified in your invoice. Payments may be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods communicated by our team. All applicable taxes, including GST and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) as mandated under Indian law, will be reflected in your invoice.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation charges depend on the specific hotels, transport, and services booked for your itinerary, as many of our partners — particularly heritage properties and luxury accommodations — apply their own non-refundable or staggered cancellation policies. As a general guideline:

Cancellations made well in advance of travel typically incur lower charges, while cancellations closer to the travel date may forfeit the advance payment in full, depending on supplier terms. The exact cancellation schedule applicable to your specific booking will be communicated in writing at the time of confirmation. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable period after deducting any non-recoverable supplier charges and bank or payment gateway fees.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and loss of belongings.

5. Changes to Itinerary

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes requested after booking, subject to availability and any additional costs charged by our suppliers. TripRoutesIndia reserves the right to make minor adjustments to an itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, local regulations, road or flight disruptions, or supplier-side changes, while making every effort to preserve the overall quality and intent of your journey.

6. Travel Documents and Visa Responsibility

It is the traveller's sole responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport, appropriate visa, and any other travel documents required for entry into India and any connecting destinations. While we are happy to provide guidance and supporting documentation (such as invitation letters) where helpful, TripRoutesIndia is not responsible for visa denials, delays, or any consequences arising from incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.

7. Health, Safety, and Travel Insurance

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake their chosen itinerary, including any adventure, high-altitude, or physically demanding components. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering the full duration of your trip. TripRoutesIndia is not liable for medical expenses, evacuation costs, or losses arising from pre-existing conditions or undisclosed health concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

TripRoutesIndia acts as an intermediary in arranging services provided by independent third parties, including hotels, transport operators, airlines, and local guides. While we carefully vet our partners, we are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by the acts, omissions, or negligence of these third-party service providers, nor for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, flight cancellations, or government travel restrictions ("force majeure" events). Our liability, where it does arise from our own confirmed negligence, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveller for the affected portion of services.

9. Traveller Conduct

Travellers are expected to respect local laws, customs, and the safety instructions provided by guides, drivers, and hotel staff throughout their journey. TripRoutesIndia reserves the right to discontinue services to any traveller whose conduct endangers themselves, other travellers, or our staff and partners, without obligation for refund of unused services.

10. Photography and Testimonials

With your consent, we may request to use photographs from your journey and feedback you share with us (including Google reviews) for promotional purposes on our website and social media. You may decline this or request removal of previously shared content at any time by contacting us.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the TripRoutesIndia website, including text, itineraries, images, and branding, is the property of TripRoutes/TripRoutesIndia or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our prior written consent.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your engagement of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

13. Amendments to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
