TripRoutesIndia is the inbound arm of TripRoutes, a Mumbai travel company founded in 2016. Our team came to it from Thomas Cook India, MakeMyTrip and Travelguru, and between us we have spent more than twenty years in Indian travel.
We started TripRoutesIndia for travellers abroad, and for NRIs coming home, who love the idea of India but worry about getting it right: the distances, the logistics, the sheer amount of choice. Our answer is to do the hard work in advance and on the ground, so that you only experience the good part.
In practice that means private journeys, never shared coaches. Hotels we know. Guides we have worked with for years. Honest advice on what to skip. And an itinerary built around you rather than copied from a brochure.
India, as it was meant to be felt: not rushed, not generic, not seen through a coach window.

Prafull has worked in Indian travel for more than 18 years, with Thomas Cook India, MakeMyTrip and Travelguru, before founding TripRoutes in Mumbai in 2016.
TripRoutesIndia is the inbound side of that business: the same team, suppliers and standards, applied to private journeys for travellers from overseas and for NRIs coming home. Prafull personally reviews every itinerary before it goes to a guest.

All the places of stay were comfortable and located at city centres, with great food and friendly, courteous staff at every stop — from Gangtok to Pelling's Kanchenjunga views to Darjeeling's Mall Road. Drivers throughout the journey were friendly, punctual and great company. We'd also recommend Namchi Ravangla Buddha Park, Char Dham and Samdruptse, just check the weather first.
