Jaipur City Morning → Drive to Ranthambore → Evening Safari
Arrive at Jaipur International Airport. Morning visit to Amber Fort — a warm-up for Rajasthan's glories. After lunch, drive to Sawai Madhopur (3 hours on NH52). Check in to your safari lodge inside or adjacent to the park boundary. A brief orientation briefing from your lead naturalist: who are the current territorial tigers, what sign to look for, how the park zones are structured. Afternoon game drive (3–6pm) — the first safari, when excitement is highest and tigers are often active.

Full Safari Day — Morning and Afternoon Drives
The heart of the experience. Pre-dawn safari (6am–9am) in the cold stillness of the forest when predators are most active. Return for breakfast, rest, and the naturalist's presentation on the park's individual tigers and leopards — identification photographs, territory maps, and conservation history. Afternoon safari (3pm–6pm). Your lead naturalist reads the jungle constantly: the alarm bark of a sambar deer, the piercing call of a peacock, the gathering of langur monkeys in the treetops — all signs that a large predator is moving nearby. The anticipation between signs is part of the experience.

Morning Safari → Ranthambore Fort → Wildlife Photography
Final morning safari. By Day 3, your eye has been trained by the previous drives — you see things you didn't notice on Day 1. After the safari, guided walk to the Ranthambore Fort — the 10th-century Rajput citadel inside the park, with views across the lake system and the tiger reserve. The fort's Ganesh temple is an active place of worship — a remarkable thing to find inside a wildlife reserve. Afternoon: photography review and processing session with your naturalist. Evening: farewell dinner at the lodge.

Ranthambore → Agra → Taj Mahal
Drive to Agra — Taj Mahal Sunset
Drive from Sawai Madhopur to Agra (approx 4.5 hours via Bharatpur). En route: optional stop at Fatehpur Sikri — the abandoned Mughal capital. Arrive Agra by 4pm. Drop bags at hotel and head directly to the Taj Mahal for sunset — the marble turns amber and then deep orange in the last 30 minutes of daylight.

The 5am alarm. Taj Mahal at sunrise — the definitive moment of any Agra visit. After breakfast: Agra Fort — the magnificent Mughal citadel where Shah Jahan was imprisoned. Drive to Delhi (3.5 hours) for your international departure. Tour concludes.
